Introduction

San Francisco certainly deserves its accolade as ‘Everyone’s Favourite City,’ for it is one of America’s most densely populated with millions flocking each year to experience the beautiful city by the bay. Shopping

Shopping in San Francisco is part blood sport, part cultural experience. For the latter, browse North Beachs Grant Ave from Bush to Filbert stations - go from Chinatown to North Beach, from silk kimonos to rare vinyl. In Hayes Valley, Hayes St from Franklin to Laguna Sts is an upscale, stylish mash of galleries, boutiques and intriguing wares.


Weather

Winters are mild, with daytime highs near 60 °F (15 °C). Lows almost never reach freezing temperatures. May through September are quite dry, and rain is a common occurrence from November through March. Snow is extraordinarily rare
